    Thanks for stopping by sweetfrenchtoast!

I'm Sabrina, and I love sewing and creative DIY projects for a modern handmade life. Whether I'm sewing a new dress, baking a fresh twist on a classic dessert, or making my own barn door headboard, I'll share all the pain and glory right here on my sweet little blog. Enjoy!

After the barn door headboard kicked off our bedroom makeover, RH and I spent the next few months (!) searching for the perfect dresser. I’m not kidding when I say that we visited nearly every furniture store inside the perimeter in Atlanta. From Ikea to thrift stores to Design Within Reach, we searched high and low until we found the perfect dresser.

Isn’t she a beauty?

I won’t go into the details of how botched the entire process has been, but we finally have the perfect dresser in perfect condition in our bedroom. Yay!

The dresser is all wood, so the insides are a little rough. I made some fun drawer liners out of a few sheets of wrapping paper from Paper Source. The best part of making my own drawer liners was that I got to pick my own designs for my drawers, and RH got to pick his out too. So he wasn’t forced to live with a flowery montage under his boxers, and I don’t have to look at beer bottles every morning.

Can you guess which drawers are “his” and which drawers are “hers”?:)

I know it’s a small detail, but diy drawer liners are a great way to add a little pop of unexpected personality to your everyday routine!

Cynthia - How do you make it stay so flat? Using glue.?

sabrina - Cynthia, I used paper sheets — not a roll — so there’s no need to tape it or use glue. Hope that helps!
