I have watched or learned of many friends’ battles with cancer in the past year, so last night — when I attended my second Relay For Life — was especially meaningful.
RH’s department at work also had a team in attendance, and he committed to stay for the entire event, which lasts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., after a full day (and full week!) of work. He is catching some zzz’s as I write this, and I am very proud of him.
