my wedding flip flops

I usually spend a good 98% of the summer in flip flops. So it was only fitting that I ended up wearing them on my wedding day.

I searched high and low for the “perfect” wedding shoe. I wanted something flat, open toe, and affordable.

And not “bridal white.”

I ordered shoes online and sent them back. I bought shoes in stores and returned them. Finally, WF suggested that I check DSW, and lo and behold…it was there that I found the shoe!

They were perfect: comfortable, cheap (we’re talking less than $40), and totally wearable all summer long! I’ve already worn them several times since the wedding. I’m sure RH would approve of my per-use cost.
