I don’t know if it’s the fact that I run 300mph during the work day and then have zero energy in the evenings, or the fact that it’s hard to think about floral design when I’m wading through piles of household consolidation aftermath, or the fact that I care not only for myself and RH but also my mom and her dog (who, I recently realized, really is hers now and simply has me as a benefactor to pay for food, toys, and vet bills)…but whatever the reason(s) may be, I am finding it really hard to get organized and motivated to continue checking things off the wedding planning list.
It would probably help if I had a list. 
I guess I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. I have made some progress on things like wedding attire and jewelry. I’m also taking a letterpress class so I can do my own invitations…yippee! And we knocked the big things out, like venue, food, photographer, band and honeymoon, a few months ago.
I just want to have a pretty day that everyone enjoys. I don’t really care if the ink color on my invitations perfectly matches the frosting on the cupcakes. I’m waffling on doing favors at all. I just want to get married and go on our honeymoon!
Anyway, just wanted to share. Why aren’t there any reality shows about brides who are laidback like me? I guess we don’t make as good TV as bridezillas do.
