oh yeah…halloween!

When WF was in town for Halloween, I realized that I’m no spring chicken. We went back to our roots with a night out at a club to hear superstar DJ Sasha play. RH stayed home because clubs are so not his thing. I complained about the crowds and my feet hurt. Lately alcohol makes my tummy hurt so I had one shot and three sips of WF’s drink. I also didn’t get into planning my costume as much as I used to, mostly because (a) I’m feeling kinda cow-ish lately and (b) I’ve been way too busy lately. WF and LS looked awesome though.

Besides all this moaning and groaning, I really did have fun with WF, LS, KC and KC’s man. I just think I’ve been away from the nightclub scene too long, and when my idea of a good time is dinner at home and catching up on the DVR, it’s hard to make the leap to raging clubster and stay out all night without feeling a teensy bit old.

I do, however, really like this pic WF sent me that EK took. That’s our old friend DW in the middle as a very macabre postal worker.

I still love Halloween…I’m just not sure if the Halloween-at-a-club thing is for me anymore. I think having a house party sounds like fun though! I could bake Halloween-themed treats and carve pumpkins to greet guests at the door.

Oh my.

I’ve gone from Mixer magazine* to Good Housekeeping in the blink of an eye!
