a wicked good time

Wednesday night was the final installment of my birthday celebration. RH bought us tix to see Wicked at the Fox Theatre. We had excellent seats…probably the best seats I’ve ever had at the Fox. That is, they were the best seats ever until two guys sat in front of us…two guys with HUGE HEADS. Seriously. I could barely see around them. So at intermission, we scooted down a few seats, and the second half of the evening we had a perfect view.

The show was incredible. The visuals, the story, the songs and the performances…it was all really, really amazing. I loved Glinda. She was so freakin’ adorable.

Today we continued our recent weekend activity of working on RH’s house—cleaning out the basement, closets, etc. to get it ready for a potential renter. I guess we’re going through the household consolidation that couples do when they figure out that they soon really will have one household to share. So far, it’s been pretty painless, but we’re going to have to decide whose leather living room furniture we’re going to keep. I really want to keep mine, and he really wants to keep his, so there’s obviously a conflict there. I don’t know how we’ll make the decision, but I feel it coming soon! Meanwhile, we’re planning to have a yard sale the day after Thanksgiving, and I think we’re going to have a pretty nice stash of inventory put aside for it.

Hopefully, it won’t be too cold that day. It’s gotten pretty darn chilly lately. Time to pull out the sweaters and coats!
