without going into the details…

…I just have to say is that I am deeply saddened and disappointed at the amount of ignorance that still exists in the United States of America.

I have to stop reading YouTube comments…they make my stomach turn. :(

At times like these I think of what the wise and witty J.R. “Bob” Dobbs has to say about it:

“You know how stupid the average guy is? Well, by definition, half the people in the world are even stupider than that.”

I have found YouTube comments on all subjects to be puerile and useless. It’s not the place to go for a reasoned discussion of policy issues.

Youtube comments are pretty much the worst thing on the Internet.

Yes, you’re both right, and I should just stop reading YouTube comments altogether. :P

I am always frustrated by the stupidity and ignorance of people in general too! Most of the time it brings me real physical pain and sometimes tears. So then when I see things like the design and engineering of a cruise ship, new technological advances like the AMP thing you sent me, I always wonder “So who ARE these smart people that come up with these things? They certainly aren’t the ones I interact with on a daily basis, either in person or via the internet. Where do they come from?”
