It’s been strange seeing the effects of a downtown tornado in my city. I am very thankful to have missed any damage, unlike one of my former coworkers who was hit by both tornadoes and hid in a closet with his dog both times. He’s got a tarp over his roof…I’m glad it wasn’t any...

This is walking distance from my place. If you haven’t heard, a tornado ripped through downtown Atlanta last night. It sounds like everyone in this loft complex is accounted for and okay, but other parts of my neighborhood are toast. Very sad and scary.
