it’s tuesday

And it feels like it should be Thursday.

This afternoon, I referenced a meeting that happened this morning, and it felt like it happened three days ago.

For real.

It’s been a long day.

Meanwhile, I have a mouse. I thought I saw him a while ago, and Sunday night my suspicions were confirmed. I saw him again, and this time he was right next to my bed, scurrying about the base of my nightstand. I have two live capture traps set up, and yep…there’s no sign of the little stinker.

Sigh.

It’s been a weird bad day. I’m on my fifth PC laptop in less than three years. Wtf? Is it me? Did the curse of the crappy PC laptops follow me to my new job?

Anyway, that’s all for now. Feel free to send me puppies and butterflies and ice cream…lots of ice cream.

March 13, 2007 - 11:11 pm Tim - Personally, I'm regretting the choice of laptop (PC over a Mac) when I started my new job. It would make working with an old friend and some new friends a little easier, but I took the path of least resistance. At least it's a nice PC laptop... better than what I got last company.

March 14, 2007 - 9:39 am james - no, its not you, sabrina. companies always buy cheap pc-based laptops. i am always amazed when i switch over at the end of the day from this shitty dell latitude d610 to my macbrook pro the difference in quality in everything. the keys on the keyboard are stronger, the case is stronger, the screen is better...etc etc etc. plus unless its a new laptop or the it department completely wiped and reimaged it you are getting someone elses crap in the registry too and god only knows whats buried in there.
