thank you

Thank you for all the nice wishes for my belly. I am feeling a lot better, but something still isn’t quite right with my tummy. I am going to try the chiropractor that JR recommended to me — apparently he doesn’t do back-cracking, which scares me. I’ve never had an adjustment, but I’m willing to give it a shot if it could help me feel better!

I closed on Mom’s condo yesterday. It went fine. I was her power of attorney, so I had to sign about a zillion documents with her signature, my signature, and “as AIF.” But yay…it’s done! Tomorrow, a contractor is knocking down a wall in her condo. And I’m paying someone to finish painting my place…what a pain! So hopefully that will be done soon so I can hang my elfa closets. It sucks not having anywhere to hang up a jacket or a shirt!

I just got an e-mail from LK — she and JW are in Whistler right now. They are having a wonderful time, but JW busted on Blackcomb his first day snowboarding and broke his hand! So his hand is in a cast. And she is preggers, so I guess that works out if he can’t snowboard anymore. Tragic, but funny at the same time.

I wish today were Friday. But it almost is so I’ll take that instead.
