Today’s Photo Friday challenge is “Self-Portrait 2007.” I thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce something I’ve been doing since January 1 of this year. I’ve started taking one self-portrait each day as part of the 365 Days group on Flickr.
Unfortunately, I’ve missed a few days, and the really anal side of me hates that. But I’m going to do my best to get at least one shot every day in 2007. At the end, I’ll have a few less than 365 self-portraits, which isn’t technically a full year, but I will consider that quite an accomplishment anyway.
I took this photo the other night at my new place. I’m holding Snowangel, a stuffed bunny with angel wings that I made at a Build-A-Bear Workshop in Salt Lake City. I was on my way home from a snowboarding trip, and I had so much fun making Snowangel from scratch, so to speak…giving her a heart filled with love and picking out accessories like her wings.
Every time I hug her, she leaves little sparklies on me from her wings. She’s adorable.
