googling my life

“how to paint a room” (I should have added “+quickly”)

“scratched concrete floors” (after I dragged a 36″ tube TV across my floor…duh)

“adt vs. brinks” (any thoughts, gentle readers?)

“kitchenaid artisan mixer” (lusting over this but holding myself back from spending more money)

“toshiba sdh400 replacement remote” (it died, and since it’s my TiVo DVR as well as my DVD player I can’t ffwd through commercials…agh!)

“how to catch a mouse” (I think I saw a mouse tonight!)

April 9, 2007 - 1:53 pm David - What did you ever do about your dead remote for your Tivo. I also need to find a replacement

February 10, 2007 - 11:23 pm me - Leo, I got some plug-in sonic pest repellent things. I couldn't bear the thought of killing or otherwise injuring a little mouse...I would cry. :( Ryan, moving is a pain. But this is definitely the beginning of a new chapter for me. James, I can't afford to buy a new TV right now. Trust me, I've tried to make it work. :) And Ron, I will probably only use the mixer about once a week, so I'll probably end up going with the Artisan. It gets pretty good reviews. I'm still holding myself back from buying it NOW though. :P

February 9, 2007 - 1:15 pm Ron C - Stand mixers are great, and the artisan is a good start, but it is not super durable. If you plan on using it 3 times a week (like I do) get the Pro 5 Plus, or any of the bowl lift ones. More power, and more durable. My 2 cents...

February 9, 2007 - 11:49 am james - sabrina, you should have just bought a new tv.....

February 9, 2007 - 7:22 am Ryan - Screw the floor, that should have been "Scratched 36 inch TV"...that thing is WAY more important than any floor. Also...the artisan kitchenaid mixer is awesome. My roommate has one. I hardly ever use it but it's almost a power tool for cooking. And guys love power tools. I'm kind of jealous in a way. Even though moving is a pain, apparently you and I have done it a number of times in our lives and it kind of gives you a new lease on life every time you do it. It's like you gain positive karma by bringing some order to chaos. However, I love the area where I live and my apt. and won't be moving any time soon, unless I can score myself a sweet loft.

February 9, 2007 - 1:03 am Leo the 3rd - Edit: thing should be "think".

February 9, 2007 - 1:02 am Leo the 3rd - Hmmm, mouse is an easy one - scream like a girl, chase it with a broom and jump up on a chair when you thing you've seen it. :) Just kidding. No actually some peanut butter on a trap works great. - Tip given from a pest control specialist.

March 13, 2007 - 10:12 pm it’s tuesday at sweetfrenchtoast - [...] Meanwhile, I have a mouse. I thought I saw him a while ago, and Sunday night my suspicions were confirmed. I saw him again, and this time he was right next to my bed, scurrying about the base of my nightstand. I have two live capture traps set up, and yep…there’s no sign of the little stinker. [...]
