Most performance tests have Parallels clocking in at about 2/3 the speed of Bootcamp. I don't need the extra speed for what I'll be doing in Windows and would much rather have the convenience of working in Windows alongside my Mac apps. I also like how it's not a one-shot deal with the hard disk partition (as opposed to the way Bootcamp does it) -- I've already had to change up my partition settings and I only got it up and running a day ago.

The setup went pretty smoothly but I had a problem with my MacBook Pro not reading the Windows XP install disc. So I had to install from an .iso file that a friend created for me (thanks, GE!).

So far, though, I'm really liking Parallels. It's WORLDS better than the Virtual PC experience was on my PowerBook!

Sab,

So why did you go this route instead of using Bootcamp? Just curious.
