For the second year in a row, LS was my date to a holiday party. I told her the other night, “No offense, but I really hope I get to take a guy as my holiday party date next year.”
Heh. She understood.

Meanwhile, today was the first day I actually felt full-blown, stay-at-home sick. When I first woke up, I not only felt extremely sluggish and totally devoid of energy, but I also had low blood sugar and was shaky, faint and nauseous. I’ve tried to take it easy today and rest as much as possible, so here’s hoping that I wake up tomorrow feeling like a new person!
