I haven’t had time to write anything lately, because I’ve either been running around or I’ve been in a codeine-induced haze. Remember how I got sick over a month ago? Well, my cough never went away, and then (lucky me) I got sick again. Yep, I’ve had two back-to-back upper respiratory infections…craziness! And this time I have an accompanying bladder infection to boot. Woo hoo.
I actually skipped out on two of the five holiday parties this past week and am considering placing a moratorium on anything that doesn’t involve sitting on the couch or sleeping for the next week. I must be well before I leave for Whistler. And that’s only about a week away!
Anyway, just wanted to check in. More words and pics to come…promise.

Hey, Hva eyou been to Cataloochee in North Carolina? If so which place do you think is better, Cataloochee or Whistler?

And TJ, Whistler is pretty consistently ranked in the top 10 resorts in North America. I honestly don’t think any east coast resorts can compete with it overall, in terms of runs, size, lifts, snow and the village.
That being said, I’ve never been to Cataloochee, but I think I’ve been spoiled by resorts out west!
