happy thanksgiving!

I hope y’all had a nice one. Mom and I went out to eat for lunch and she cooked Korean food for dinner. It was yummy and I’m still full.

It’s been a hard year, but I am thankful for so many things, including the fact that two pairs of my jeans have become too big to wear and I can use my unused vacation time payout to buy new ones.

Like these:

Seven A pocket jeans in Amsterdam

Seriously…how cute are they?? And I got them for over half off! W00t!

(Yeah, I’m one of those girls who believes in designer jeans. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to denim.)

Anyway, for real now…I am so thankful for so many things that I’m not going to go into them here, lest I mistakenly overlook someone or something (à la pretty much every Oscar acceptance speech). I will say that I am thankful to have this little place on the Web as my own. It’s been almost three years since my very first post (back in my Typepad days, no less), and I’ve been through quite a few ups and downs with this blog, threatened to shut it down, and been through two jobs and a few more boys in that time. I’ve lost my dad and gained the responsibility of making sure my mom is okay. I’ve learned a lot about life, and love, and myself.

So thanks, gentle readers (all three of you…heh), for listening to me gab and cry and whine and be silly.

I am thankful for that.

Very thankful.

I bought a Calvin Klein t-shirt a few years back, and it was actually much nicer than my other regular t-shirts. Little details in the cut, finish and fabric made a noticeable difference. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving!
