into the unknown

I’m getting a haircut at a new place today, after spending the last four or five years with the same stylist.

It makes me nervous.

The last time I tried a new stylist…only because my old one wasn’t available and my locks needed a trim before I headed to China…I was disappointed in the results.

Maybe I should have taken the mullets he gave my coworkers and the boy as a warning sign.

Well, hopefully today’s experience will be a more successful one. I’d like to find someone closer since my old stylist is nearly 40 miles from my home.

Fingers crossed.

Yeah, did the stylist pass muster? Looks like there were some highlites added. Looks good. Will you go back to the new stylist?

The new stylist–a cute, laidback Scottish guy–was good. I wasn’t sure if I liked the cut when I left, but after a day I think I do indeed like it. I’m still kinda looking for that “wow” factor though…maybe I’ll try a different place next time and go back to Scottish guy if I can’t find someone I like better.

My highlights are actually really old, Leo the 3rd. I need to get them touched up–along with my curly roots (my hair is naturally curly and I have thermal reconditioning done).
