I am soooo tired today. I had a busy day at work, after getting up really early to take Mom to the bank and to a doctor’s appointment. It’s been a pretty busy week, and I am now vegging on the couch, MacBook Pro in my lap and the Tyra Show playing on the TiVo. I am barely motivated to move right now.

I went to see The Raconteurs in concert earlier this week. It was a good show, but it was so loud! I like their album, but the main reason I wanted to go to the show was to see Brendan Benson live. What a musician…I have the biggest crush on him even though he is skinny as hell. And there was something strangely attractive about Jack White…the way his hair was flailing around and his pale arms thrashed about as he played his guitar. Anyway, the show was good. They played much harder than they do on the album…at times it bordered on metal. And LS and I text messaged each other throughout the opening band, so that was funny, especially since we were standing right next to each other.

Tomorrow night I’m meeting up with JH to see José González play at The EARL. I really, really love José’s music, so I’m pretty stoked about it. It will be like night and day compared to the hard rockin’ Raconteurs show. José’s music is so beautiful. One of his songs was featured in a Sony BRAVIA ad, which you can see here.

On another note…man, do I need to run tomorrow. I’ve fallen off the wagon, and I really need to get back on it. I’m starting to feel my fitness level decline, and that’s not a good feeling. Besides, winter is coming, and it’s the perfect excuse to sit on my duff, drinking hot cocoa and eating bon bons. So I must combat the pudge now.
