A while ago I posted about the High Road Touring artists I wanted to see live. Well, Bloc Party is coming in November…woo hoo! They weren’t on my original list, but they’re another High Road artist I’d love to see. Tift Merritt is also playing in nearby Athens soon (go Dawgs!), but it’s on GE’s birthday so I’m reserving that for any celebrations he may wish to invite me to. Hopefully Brendan Benson will tour after his new album comes out in the spring. And I’m starting to lose all hope of seeing Kim Richey live….

Tim - I saw Bloc Party at the Tabernacle last year and they rocked. The whole place was literally crackling with energy. Hopefully, they’ll debut some new material in November.
