I did a photoshoot this weekend for my friend the shoe designer. It was fun, as the designer and both models are great friends of mine. I captured this little caterpillar on CW’s friend AW’s hand. Isn’t it so teeny and cute?
It’s technically September 12 now, as I’m writing this just after midnight. So September 11 has come and gone.
I can’t believe it’s been five years.
Reminiscing about that day five years ago makes me think about how quickly time has gone by but also about how much has happened to me in that time.
Remembering the shock, horror and overwhelming sadness of that day brings back the thought that it’s the little things that really matter…like spending time with loved ones, enjoying a fantastic meal, kissing my dog on the nose, taking the time to help someone in need.
September 12 is the thirty-third anniversary of my parents’ marriage.
I wish my dad was here.
Sometimes I don’t understand why there has to be so much loss in life.
I’m sleepy.
