Sheesh…am I starting to see the light these days. Things are not always what they seem. I’m getting past the initial shock of seeing things for what they really are, and I’m ready to stop letting things bug me so much. There is a very limited amount of stuff in my life that I can control. I’m going to focus on that stuff — the stuff I can control — rather than the stuff that I have no control over at all. That is a complete waste of energy, for sure. You’re probably wondering, “What the heck is she talking about?” It’s nothing, really…just another lesson learned. I can add that to my really, really long list of lessons learned over the past few years.
I have been thinking more and more lately that I should write a book. You can’t make this stuff up, people.
I went to the Jewel concert with my friend LS last night. It was fun — we got to spend some quality time gabbing about girl stuff and making fun of the drunk dancing round man who was making a total ass of himself. Ah…good times.
I’m feeling like crap today. I think it’s a combination of my allergies and the Afrin I had to take last night so I could breathe. One of my medications has started giving me really bad congestion lately…so bad, I literally cannot breathe out of either nostril. Not good. I think I’m going to call my doctor in the morning to see what we can do about that.
One good note is that I’ve been in touch with several old friends recently. I finally gave in and created a profile on Myspace (eek! I still shudder at the thought sometimes) — and I’m linked up with some old friends from high school, college, etc. I’m going to try to do a better job of keeping in touch with people and being a genuine friend more consistently.
If you want to add me as a friend, perhaps you could send me a message to let me know if it’s not obvious who you are. I’ve too often gotten all excited about a new friend request, only to see that it’s some random dude who thinks I’m HOTTTT.
Whatever.
Anyway, the picture on this post is my left leg. I was playing around with my camera the other night and liked the way this one turned out. I am still absolutely loving my camera, by the way. It was definitely a worthwhile investment!

Worthwhile for sure. You really have an eye for pictures. I always loved your shots
