am I a snob?

I’m sitting in the airport waiting for my flight departure, which has been delayed. I am sleepy and really hope I don’t get in too late tonight…I need to iron my wardrobe pieces for tomorrow, shave my legs, and flat iron my hair.

Meanwhile, I am sitting in the airport, listening to bits and pieces of other people’s conversations. Not because I’m an eavesdropper, but because I can’t help but hear it when I’m sitting back-to-back with someone who is having a conversation on one of those walkie-talkie phones that beep between each party.

At least the drunk guy is gone. He was so sad. He was very solemnly telling the person on the other end of the phone the story of his wife leaving him and taking the kids. “She took my kids, man!” he started to weep.

Sheesh.

Am I actually a snob for thinking that I don’t see (or hear) this kind of stuff when I fly Delta rather than AirTran?

Anyway, I assume that the other actors who are shooting with me tomorrow are also on my flight, but I don’t recognize anyone. There is a woman across the seating area who may be someone I recognize from her headshot, but she has a child with her. Maybe she’s bringing her kid along? I have no idea.

Oh! I wanted to share my latest diet find. I had previously shared my yummy snack of strawberries, whipped cream and Splenda (which isn’t a genius concoction or anything that special), and now I want to share that Popeye’s now has “naked” chicken strips. They are basically chicken strips that are prepared like their grilled chicken sandwich filet — at least, that’s the assumption I’m making. They are 1 carb per strip and they’re pretty tasty.

I have to practice self control after this shoot! I am worried that I may fall into my old habit of thinking that I need to “celebrate” by eating something like cookie dough cheesecake or a chocolate shake.

Or both.

I need to stay on track…swimsuit season is almost here!
