I’m going to bed so this will be short and sweet so I can hit the hay. Our network connection at work was down all day today. We couldn’t get to e-mail, the Internet, or our server, so it pretty much sucked. To kill time, I played the Road Rage mode of Burnout for the Xbox for the very first time today — and I totally kicked one of my coworker’s ass at it. I beat him 5 to 1, and he swears he didn’t just let me win. That was a good feeling.
I had a lunch meeting with a client, so I was able to leave the office for a bit and escape the insane feeling you get when you can’t access anything you need to actually do your work. We went to Nava, and it was my first time there. I had a very yummy scallops and tomato grits dish. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it again.
Maybe that’s because I didn’t eat any dinner tonight. Unless two Snickers Minis before leaving the office and two cookies at my condo association’s annual meeting count.
Oh well.
I also had my annual review today. I got a promotion. I’m now “Sr. Project Manager” instead of just “Project Manager.”
Go me!
Kona came home tonight. I’ve missed her! She’s especially soft and cuddly right now. Although I’m sure by tomorrow I will be reminded what a little freakazoid she is.
I have a ton of e-mail to catch up on tomorrow. (insert sarcastic “yay!” here)
I’m a girl who keeps her word, and I said this would be short and sweet. So…goodnight!
I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and work as a
you go, sr. p.m.!
That’s a well-deserved “Sr.”
