high road touring

I was testing out the new nano today and made a short list of the artists and bands I’d love to see in concert soon. I did a quick search tonight for one of them, Kim Richey, and found that her tours are managed by the folks at High Road Touring, who happen to also manage several other artists that who are on my list.

(I always lost marks for that grammatical error on my college papers!)

Too bad none of them are coming to Atlanta!

At the top of my High Road wishlist:

  • Kim Richey
  • Brendan Benson
  • Tift Merritt
  • Michael Penn

I’ve shared some music from Kim Richey before, as well as Tift Merritt.

Now I’m probably going to jail.

October 18, 2005 - 11:54 am me - I know...I saw the sign on the Variety Playhouse the day after the show. If you hear about her coming, please make sure I know, okay?  :)

October 18, 2005 - 10:58 am Tim - Tift Merritt was in town not too long ago (early summer?). She'll be back soon enough.

September 22, 2006 - 8:57 pm more music musings at sweetfrenchtoast - [...] A while ago I posted about the High Road Touring artists I wanted to see live. Well, Bloc Party is coming in November…woo hoo! They weren’t on my original list, but they’re another High Road artist I’d love to see. Tift Merritt is also playing in nearby Athens soon (go Dawgs!), but it’s on GE’s birthday so I’m reserving that for any celebrations he may wish to invite me to. Hopefully Brendan Benson will tour after his new album comes out in the spring. And I’m starting to lose all hope of seeing Kim Richey live…. // Used for showing and hiding user information in the comment form function ShowUtils() { document.getElementById("authorinfo").style.display = ""; document.getElementById("showinfo").style.display = "none"; document.getElementById("hideinfo").style.display = ""; } function HideUtils() { document.getElementById("authorinfo").style.display = "none"; document.getElementById("showinfo").style.display = ""; document.getElementById("hideinfo").style.display = "none"; } No responses yet to “more music musings” RSS & Trackback [...]
