Okay, maybe it’s really just Lean Cuisine, but man, has their selection improved.
I’ve decided that my diet of Taco Bell, KFC and Johnny’s Pizza just isn’t cutting it. Oh yeah, I forgot the midnight runs to Wendy’s too. Anyway, I’m not getting any younger and I’m definitely not getting any skinnier.
So I’ve started eating Lean Cuisines. Have you tried one lately? They’re really good! My favorite is the sesame chicken. I usually slide it onto a plate after zapping it in the micro to make it feel more like a real meal.
Without fail, if I have a Lean Cuisine for lunch and a Lean Cuisine for dinner, I lose about three pounds in two days. I just have a hard time keeping it up. And I can’t even remember the last time I worked out.
I do feel like I have an excuse though. I’ve been crazy busy (like, even more than usual) and it’s actually been with worthwhile stuff as opposed to the mindless putzing around I’ve been known to do.
Ugh…it’s late. I fell asleep this afternoon and slept for three? maybe four hours! I’m not a big napper, but I couldn’t resist the call of my oh-so-cozy bed. It’s an awesome king pillowtop with super-soft sheets and a pretty, pretty quilt. I’ve found myself, for the past two Fridays, waking up and thinking it was Saturday. That’s a harsh reality…realizing that it’s not Saturday at all, but that I have to get my arse out of bed and get to work.
Anyway, I’ll try to post my progress on the Lean Cuisine program that I’ve just totally made up. They were on sale at Kroger tonight (two for $4) so I’m stocked up for a few days, at least. Seriously, if you’re looking for something quick and healthy, consider trying one of their meals…especially the Asian dishes. I don’t own stock in the company or anything…promise. 🙂
