oh, batman!

Tonight, Guy and I met up with Keith and Ashley to see Batman Begins. At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d buy chiseled Christian Bale as Batman, but by the end of it, I was cheering for him and thinking "what a sweetie!" So I guess he did a good job. Actually, I thought the movie was really good, and I loved the setup they did at the beginning. I can’t really fault much of the movie at all…it’s waaaaay better than the other Batman films.

Kona and I are headed to the vet in the morning. She’s overdue on some vaccinations (Jason and I have got to find a better way of keeping up with her stuff at different vets) and she has also been having this weird pee thing where she acts like she wants to pee every two minutes when we’re outside, even if nothing comes out. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, but I definitely want them to check her out and give her meds if she’s got some sort of infection.

So my latest news is that I am actually thinking of moving in with my parents! I know, it sounds crazy, but Guy is moving out (the short of it is he’s getting his own place but we’re still seeing each other)…and I have to figure out what I want to do when the lease at this place is officially up. I have thought about getting a roommate here, moving somewhere else with a roommate, getting my own 1BR place, becoming a dancer at The Cheetah…ha ha…that last one was a joke.

Anyway, my dad mentioned to me that I was always welcome to stay there for a while. At first, I kinda dismissed it. But the more I think about it, the more it sounds appealing for a little while. I’d be able to save a ton of dough and I wouldn’t be locked into a lease for a year. My commute would increase by about a thousand times (okay, maybe not that much, but it would be a lot farther than the five-minute drive I have now), but I’m thinking it’s worth it to be able to send that much extra money to my debts. So, we’ll see. My friend Ashley commented tonight that I would be one of those people they talk about on the news. "A boomeranger," I responded, and she said yes, they have been talking about adults who return home on shows like The Today Show, etc. "Maybe I’ll get on TV!" I giggled. So we’ll see what happens.

At this point, I’m really trying to consider all my options and make a smart decision. I checked out a house for rent with a surprisingly cool guy earlier this week but decided that I just need to give this more time so I can feel really good about my final decision. Also, my office is probably going to be moving, so I’d like to find out where I’m going to be working before I decide where to live.

So…no takers on my camera yet?! Just kidding.

I’m sleepy and I need to walk Kona before hitting the sack. We have to get up early for our appointment with the vet…I have to be there earlier than I even get to work during the week…aack!
