Did I mention that I started doing my taxes this weekend? I’m going to have to call in a pro since I can’t for the life of me figure out how to handle the stocks I got from my old job. I was awarded shares but paid taxes on them, then sold them. TurboTax for the Web just isn’t set up to handle such complicated situations, I guess. In any case, I will most likely owe the IRS money yet again, and I’m really pissed about it since I’m actually filing as single this year. I wanted a refund, dammit, or to at least break even! I’m still going through the process of figuring out all my income and expenses for the side gigs, and I’m looking for any deductions I can take.
Taxes suck!
