First of all, I totally forgot that the season finale of "The Bachelorette" was going to come on at the same time as "American Idol" last night. And I had an incredibly hectic, long day at work, so by the time I gave the TiVo any attention, it was too late…I had missed The Bachelorette’s final rose. However, I did watch the special "After the Final Rose," and I was honestly shocked that Jen didn’t accept Jerry’s proposal! But you know, now that I’ve had some time to think about it, good for her. I’m glad she went with what she thought was right for her. Getting engaged is pretty serious stuff.
So…American Idol. What a great show! I think this season is going to be great. The part I like best about it is that the group is incredibly diverse. Not just ethnically, but stylistically. The guys are sooooo much better this season than last season. My favorite contestants so far are Mario, Bo, and Carrie, the cutie blonde farmgirl. My least favorites are Constantine, Constantine, and…oh yeah, Constantine. He just annoys me! What a poser. I really enjoyed Scott’s Luther Vandross song last night…I couldn’t place the song but I knew every word and every oooh aaaah…that was the kind of music I grew up listening too.
Anyway, back to work…just wrapped up a deliverable, almost an entire day late and the client was freaking out today…fun fun!!

American Idol was better than the Bachelorette - which really needs something to make it more interesting. Great site.
