My dad was diagnosed with it last December, so I know what you're feeling right now. I will definitely send good thoughts your way, especially for the bone scan. Deciding on treatment is probably the hardest, most overwhelming decision. For what it's worth, I don't know where your dad is located, but the treatment at Loma Linda Medical Center in California was repeatedly suggested to my dad. It is a wonderful center--great people, great treatment, innovative technology, high success rate. Anyway, he may want to look into it. Take care.
