I am now officially one of those people.

One of those divorced people.

Today was the day the courts made it final.

And my mom’s birthday.

And the one-year anniversary of the day Guy and I first met.

I guess it’s been a while since I’ve updated here, but I don’t really feel like writing much right now. I’m still kinda conflicted about the whole public vs. private thing.

But I did get some good news today…I finally got a normal Pap smear result after the procedure to remove the precancerous cells back in the fall. Yay!

The new job is going fine…I have a lot to learn. I spent last week in Los Angeles at the main office. Everyone was super nice and there was an unusually high number of beautiful people for the size of the office. Or is that just the way things are in LA?

The office in Atlanta is much, much smaller, and so far I like it a lot. Everyone is SO NICE. And since the office has a “dogs allowed” policy, I will get to take Kona into the office every now and then. Today I met two of the other really cute office dogs. It was nice having them around…it certainly makes the mood of a small, quiet office a little lighter.

I’m moving this weekend. The new apartment still needs some work before I move my stuff in, and I haven’t even started packing yet at the old place. Ugh. Guy has been really helpful and has been helping me clean the new place…I think it will clean up well and the sonic pest repellants I bought seem to be working. I hate bugs, and this place had a LOT of them!

Anyway, it’s late and my shoulders ache. I wish I could afford a massage a week. I’ve gotten so spoiled by my regular every-four-weeks schedule…for a while, it was every other week. My massage guy is awesome, too. And I am able to get a 90-minute massage for $25. If you want to know my secret, just ask. :P

Goodnight.
