pretty yellow flower

Last night I came over to Guy’s and we got Thai take-out. We went up to his rooftop terrace and ate and drank wine. We talked and gabbed and talked some more.

I cried.

I was soooooo sleepy. I crashed really hard and proceeded to have the most fantastical dream. Guy and I were with friends in some big city like New York, and we rented a movie to watch. It was about a boy who didn’t know that his friend was in love with him, but he was in love with another girl, and so on. It was a really amazing movie…the cinematography was killer and there was really good music in it. It was set in the early 1900s but the style of the movie and the music was totally modern day. In the end, it was sooooo sweet and romantic and emotional and real. The final scene of the film was the main character and his girl, the love he had found, stepping out of a shimmering blue-green pool at night. The majestic skyline of some Asian metropolis loomed behind them, but the scene they were in—right there at the pool—was just them, very peaceful, and quiet. They kissed as they stepped out of the pool. It was so beautiful and dreamy.

When I woke up, I felt very restless and emotional. I immediately felt the urge to move somewhere else…somewhere big and exciting and enchanting. I was weepy and confused until I fully woke up.

Anyway, I’m hungry now. I need to go find Guy and get some food. Then we’re headed down to my parents’ house. I want to use their driveway to wash my car, and we’ll hang out for a bit. Guy hasn’t been to their place yet, so I’ll be able to show him my baby pictures and such.

I do kinda still feel like moving.

Hmph.

Oh, that photo of the pretty yellow flower? I took that yesterday after I walked Kona and saw a bunch of pretty flowers in front of my neighbors’ building. Isn’t it lovely?
