Life’s been pretty rough lately, that’s for sure. I really could use some good news. I have an audition tomorrow for a national KFC commercial, so maybe that will pan out. Who knows…you can never really get your hopes up for auditions. Besides, I already have a strike against me because I am going to be out of town on the callback dates. I told my agent, but she wants me to go anyway in case they change their mind about that. Booking a national commercial could mean big bucks in terms of residuals, and goodness knows I could use some big bucks right now.
I did learn from my friend Ann that they are looking for “mixed ethnic looks”—yep…that’s me.
Anyway, life could be worse, I know, but it gets hard sometimes to stay positive. I’m trying really hard to do just that…I really am!
Guy suggested I make a list of all the positive things in my life. I’ll try to do this. But for now, I gotta get back to work.
