I’m chilling in the Doubletree right now, my feet kicked up on the little glass coffee table that sits in front of the worn, striped sleeper sofa. I specifically asked for a room with a good wireless Internet connection, so I had to give up the jacuzzi tub to get it. No biggie. I’d rather be online anyway.
They are making good progress on my place. I stopped by tonight and they have painted almost all of the walls that are supposed to get new paint. The kitchen is apparently giving them some trouble because there were four layers of wallpaper on the walls! Geez! I’m having it painted the same color as the rest of the main living area, so they are working hard to get the walls in paintable condition.
I have a lot of work to do this weekend. Not only do I have some Web site work to do, but I also really really really want to (and need to!) run, and I have a ton of stuff to move at the condo in preparation for the new flooring (hardwoods and carpet) to be laid next week. Should be a fun busy weekend. (Hey…honesty is the best policy.)
My eyes are doing pretty well. It’s hard to take a shower because I am so used to wiping the water from my eyes. Other than that, they get tired at night and start to feel dry. But I can still see, so I am happy. And I’m really getting used to sleeping in my sexy goggles. 
Right now I’m taking a little mind break and surfing Handango.com for new Palm software. I’m going to download some trial versions, so I’ll let you know what I end up liking enough to buy.
Oh…when I went by my place for the second time tonight to pick up a few more things, there was a beer bottle sitting in front of my walkway. I wonder where that came from.
